Review of B&B Theaters KC Extreme Screen Union Station Theater

Location: Kansas City, MO

Date of Visit: September 26, 2023

Movie Seen: Train Time

Price: $22 for two people

Two tickets for a morning weekday showing of a short educational film are $12.

A small popcorn and soda is $10.

Cleanliness: Very clean, and very large, I’d love to know the capacity, likely listed outside the theater and I did not pay attention.

Comfy-Ness: Super comfy reclining seats. A little nerve-wracking when you walk into the theater. It’s super tall and people with height fears might be a little nervous. But you’ll never worry about a crick in your neck while watching movies.

You get an idea of how big this theater is.

Food Quality: The popcorn was a little stale. Sprite was nice and fresh with that nice Sprite bite. No Freestyle Coca-Cola machine. I’ve noticed the theaters that don’t have the Freestyle machines are more likely to have consistently good soda quality.

Overall 15/20.

I almost chose not to include this theater because they mainly show documentaries for school trips, which is what Train Time was. However, they do show at least one new release. At the time of this writing, you can see Night of the Zoopocalypse. So it gets to be included.

The docs are cool to see and most are under an hour. My wife and I took my Mother-In-Law to see one about National Parks that was interesting, currently, there is one on the Great Barrier Reef and one on T.Rex.
