Throughout this project, the average cost for one ticket, popcorn, and soda was $34.18. For two tickets, one popcorn, and one soda, it was $46.30.
Yes, going to the movies is expensive. Generally, I don’t buy food when I go, as that’s what really adds to the cost. Watching a movie in theaters is an unparalleled experience. If we don’t support them, we could eventually lose this invaluable form of escapism.
I hope you enjoyed this project as much as I did creating it. Getting to see many theaters, I normally would’ve never gone to was fun. Some nice surprises and disappointments. The biggest surprise was B&B Overland Park 16. It’s one of the coolest theaters in KC and if you have the ability you should check it out.
