Review of B&B Overland Park 16 Theater

Price: $36.80 for one person

One ticket for an evening weekday showing in B&B’s Lyric Theater was $16.80.

A large popcorn and soda combo at all B&B theaters is $20.

Cleanliness: The theater is very clean and in impeccable shape. Everything is very clean and well-kept.

Comfy-Ness: The theater and seats are very comfortable. The Lyric is not much different from their regular theaters (more on it later). The seats are still very comfortable with spacious rows like all other B&Bs.

Food Quality: Popcorn was pretty good, compared to many other theaters. Moreover, they have the Freestyle Coca-Cola machines and their syrups were still good.

Overall 17.5/20.

I had no expectations of this theater when I first went. Yet, it shattered my non-existent expectations anyway. The lobby looks like an Old Italian villa, a truly unique style compared to all other theaters in Kansas City.

I watched the film in their Lyric Theater. It is an homage to their original B&B theater style. Brown leather reclining seats with a tabletop. It is nothing super special but a unique idea for no more price.

Only three theaters in the Kansas City area have this style; this one, Liberty 12, and Northland 14. If you get the chance, check it out.

This is easily the best overall B&B movie theater in the Kansas City Area. Its cleanliness, comfort, food & drink quality, and consistency are unmatched within all B&Bs.
