Review of AMC Legends 14 Theater

With the tight schedule, I only got this pic and no pics of the inside.

Location: Kansas City, KS

Date of Visit: March 8, 2025

Movie Seen: Mickey 17

Price: $46.81 for two people

Two tickets for a Saturday Noon showing was $30.31.

A regular popcorn and soda at all AMCs is $16.50.

Cleanliness: The theater and bathrooms were very clean; I didn’t get to do much exploring or photographing because we got let in 15 minutes before the showing. Noon was the day's first showtime, and we planned to eat lunch there as well.

Comfy-Ness: We saw this in their massive IMAX theater. Their IMAX feels like a true IMAX, or maybe the theater is just larger than any other local IMAX theater. But this one is big with a capital B.

The seats were comfortable, I wish they could recline a bit more. I was practically sitting straight up. The rows were nice and spacious at least.

Food Quality: The popcorn was very good as well as their Pibb Extra Zero. So good, that we both drank our entire sodas, which has been rare in this endeavor. In total, we spent $60 on food with two drinks, two chicken tenders, and two fries. It is pricey, but the food was good, they gave me like eight tenders, so as theater prices go I got my money's worth.

Overall 17/20.

It’s way out there for most Kansas Citians, but as a place to see a movie and have other stuff to do this would rank number one. Sitting inside the Legends outdoor mall, you can make an entire day of it, which is what Madison and I did.

I’d be tempted to watch the next big IMAX movie out at this theater.
