Review of B&B KC Northland 14 Theater

Location: Kansas City, MO

Date of Visit: December 27, 2024

Movie Seen: Babygirl

Price: $34.97 for one person

One ticket for a weekend early afternoon showing was $14.97

A large popcorn and soda combo at all B&B theaters is $20.

Cleanliness: The theater was clean. Nice and kept-up theater, especially for being a small theater. Likely comes down to management and taking pride in the theater.

I like the vintage look; all theaters should have these unique styles, reminiscent of a time when theaters were the main form of entertainment.

There’s a reason I don’t lie in bed while watching a movie.

Comfy-Ness: I watched the film in a full max relax theater. Max Relax at B&B are extra-long seats, like a chase lounge.

They have a button that will nearly fully recline your seat, so you’re almost lying down. It was almost too comfy as I had a hard time staying awake through the beginning of the film.

Food Quality: The popcorn was ok. They had a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine but the syrup was out. Seemingly a running theme at the B&B Theaters.

Overall 12.5/20.

The vintage style and up-kept theater are great, but the food and drink left something to be desired. In addition, I would not do the Max Relax again, too relaxing.

The corner urinal, when you’re in timeout but gotta pee.
