Review of AMC Dine-In Studio 28 Theater

Location: Olathe, KS

Date of Visit: September 23, 2023

Movie Seen: Dumb Money

Price: $31.53 for Two People

Two Movie Tickets were $15.03 for a matinee showing on a Saturday.

A regular popcorn and soda was $16.50. The same price for all AMC theaters in the area.

Cleanliness: The Theater was clean; however, several things were out of order, including urinals and bathroom sinks.

Comfy-Ness: The chairs were hard for cushion seats. Not self-reclining, we had to sit up straight the entire film. This was in a regular theater as well, not an IMAX, it makes this theater feel out of date.

Food Quality: Popcorn was fresh and tasty. They have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine, as all AMCs do, but the syrup was going out.

Overall 10.5/20.

I love the interior design of the theater; it’s like a 1980s arcade. However, it feels very dated, especially how uncomfortable the seats were. I would’ve needed back surgery had I seen The Brutalist there.
