Review of B&B Grain Valley Market Place Theater

Price: $47.43 for one person

1 Movie Ticket was $27.43 with tax. By far more expensive than any other theater, including the B&B Chain. Likely due to an "Event Film" showing, but the event film showing is still much more expensive than other theaters.

Large Popcorn and Large Soda No. 1 Combo - $20. [They do not have a medium option.] I did not realize the B&B popcorn and soda prices would be the same across the board. It's the same for AMC.

Cleanliness: The Theater is rundown, and everything is sticky. The bathrooms smelled like old piss. It’s a far cry from the last time I went to this theater back in 2022. It went downhill fast in just over two years.

Comfyness: The one redeeming quality is the seats, which are reclining and have a spacious walkway for every aisle. The seats were pretty equal across the B&B board. Roomy seats with plenty of legroom recline and have a heating option.

Food Quality: When I walked into the theater, no one was in there working for 25 minutes. I got to the theater very early, earlier than usual. No one was there to take a ticket; in fact, no one was working concessions.

All the candy and bottled water just sitting there to be stolen. A manager even walked out at one moment and just walked into another door.

I sat at a barstool high-top sticky table and waited. I was going to wait until 15 minutes before show time, and if no one came out, I was not going to order food.

Someone finally came out, which was too bad because the popcorn tasted like cardboard and the soda had nearly no syrup from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
